This restaurant location was formerly Gabys Cafe.
First impression: looks run down but aren't most places on Charter Way.
Walked in at 12:05 pm, sat down n waited 8 min at a table for someone to greet me. I finally got my own menu and a few minutes later the server came by and asked if i was ready. I ordered a coke but they were out so i ordered a diet. Server came bk 10 min later and i finally was able to order at 1225. Btw, they never gave me chips n salsa. I guess u have to ask for them as i saw a table do wen i finally received my food. I got my food at 1255pm. Mind u they were NOT BUSY AT ALL. There were only 3 other tables seated already wen i walked in. Two were already eating.
The food was not good. Not gross but not good. I ordered eggs, bac n shrimp. Eggs were runny even though i ordered over well. Ordered bac crispy and it was half soft half burnt. Beans n rice were cold but good. Tortillas are supposed to be homemade but they tasted like costco frozen uncooked tortillas.
Service is slow and doesnt seem like they care.
Prices are cheap but not worth it due to the taste.
I will not return.
